ROLLING SOUTH ON HWY 1 — It’s a wet wet day here at the Tour of California, as “Media 2″ heads into Pacifica on Hwy 1.
Just heard from race radio that a breakaway group of 10 riders has a 20 second gap on the main field — but almost all the racing is still to come. Just up ahead is Devil’s Slide and some great scenery, which will be probably missed by the cyclists as they try to keep their rubber on the road and not into the ocean.
It was rainy in Sausalito, but still very cool to roll the caravan south across the Golden Gate Bridge. Will try to post some very rainy video later. Right now thanks to Kimberly for some great driving… more later!
